Wichitowin Justice Study Scholarship

Description:

In 1995, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), and the Regina Police Service hosted a National Aboriginal Youth Conference in Regina. As a legacy to this conference, the Regina City Police Service and the RCMP established the Justice Study Scholarship for Aboriginal youth who are interested in studying or pursuing education and/or a career in policing.

Eligibility:

Must be of Aboriginal Ancestry, with a demonstrated interest in justice and policing, and proven community service.



Student Status: Both
Applications: Complete an application form from the website, and attach the following: resume; transcripts of all previous education; proof of Aboriginal Ancestry; indication of acceptance from a post-secondary institution; two letters of reference.
