The Graduate Advanced Training and Entrepreneurship (GATE) Centre aims to build and support an engaging student culture of professional development, entrepreneurship, and innovation at the University of Regina through:

  • Career readiness and professional development for graduate students;
  • Partnership and network opportunities with industry, non-profit and community organizations;
  • Acceleration of student and faculty-driven research commercialization, research and development, and provide introductory and exploratory information to the entrepreneurship ecosystem;
  • Engaging events for you to meet likeminded individuals from across all faculties within the University of Regina, Saskatchewan, and across the Prairies!

Grad Career Launch

Grad Career Launch helps graduate students prepare for a successful career transition by offering professional development opportunities. Through webinars, workshops, networking events, and certification courses. Students build skills, stay current with industry trends, and advance their careers through programs and opportunities like: Careers Week, Reverse Career Fair, President Keshen's Regina Chamber of Commerce Executive Event, and networking events.

Entreneurship Launch

Entrepreneurship Launch is designed to introduce students to the entrepreneurial journey through introductory and exploratory information and opportunities. Programs and opportunities include: NaviGATE, Real Talk with GATE, GATE Goes To…, and the Startup 101 Bootcamp, all designed to help students build confidence, expand networks, and take the first steps toward turning ideas into impact.
