Entrepreneurship Launch is designed to provide students with introductory and exploratory tools to learn about innovation and entrepreneurship. 

You can explore each session on its own or follow the full series to get the most out of the events planned for Entrepreneurship Launch. Throughout the program, you’ll strengthen skills in innovation, creative problem-solving, pitching ideas, and building connections with mentors and industry experts. You’ll also gain practical knowledge in launching and scaling ideas, understanding markets, and developing an entrepreneurial mindset you can apply in any career path.

GATE goes to... is an engaging initiative by GATE designed to immerse graduate students in Saskatchewan’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem! GATE will connect you with industry, expand your network, and gain fun, real world experiences. Each event explores a different industry and opens the door to new opportunities.

NaviGATE

NaviGATE is a personalized program designed to help students explore and connect with the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Through one-on-one meetings, Hannah guides students step-by-step, introducing you to resources, opportunities, and networks that support innovation and idea development. Whether you’re curious about entrepreneurship, building a startup, or simply looking to learn more, Hannah provides tailored feedback and connections to ensure you’re equipped to navigate the ecosystem with confidence.

Innovation Challenges

An Innovaiton Challenge is a fast-paced, collaborative experience where students, entrepreneurs, and community members come together to tackle real issues facing Regina. Working in teams, participants transform local problems and opportunities into bold, actionable solutions. Ideas may take the form of a policy, program, social enterprise, technology, or something entirely new. The challenge concludes with teams pitching their concepts to community and industry leaders.

The Startup 101 Bootcamp is an interdisciplinary, multi-day program designed to immerse participants in the Saskatchewan startup ecosystem, help refine their ideas, build connections, and gain essential business skills. Networking Events

GATE partners with various Saskatchewan businesses such as the Regina Chamber of Commerce, WESK, Cultivator powered by Conexus, SK Startup Institute, Economic Development Regina, Startup TNT and more to bring dynamic networking events. You’ll connect with industry, explore new sectors, and gain real-world experiences. These events cross over with our Entrepreneurship Launch and each event will open doors to fresh opportunities!

GATE's Success with Entrepreneurship Week

 

GATE hosted the University of Regina's first ever Entrepreneurship Week in 2024! The week featured a range of events, including panel discussions and networking events, offering opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students, researchers, and industry partners to connect and collaborate.
