John R. Evans Leaders Fund (JELF)
supports the research infrastructure required for the very best researchers to undertake leading-edge research. It enables institutions to remain internationally competitive in areas of research and technology development aligned with their strategic priorities. Innovation Fund
supports transformative infrastructure projects that would underpin cutting-edge, globally competitive research. It enables institutions and their researchers to build on established capabilities to accelerate current research and technology development to enhance strategic priority areas. Awards from CFI and Innovation SK are granted to the University of Regina rather than to an individual faculty member. Therefore, the institution is accountable for all aspects of the award and meeting CFI's detailed requirements related to the use, reporting and administration of the funds. The Research Office coordinates the application process and post-award administration of CFI awards to help ensure requirements are met.
