Canada Foundation for Innovation
Canadian Foundation for Innovation (CFI) - Innovation Saskatchewan
CFI

John R. Evans Leaders Fund (JELF)

It enables institutions to remain internationally competitive in areas of research and technology development aligned with their strategic priorities. See https://www.innovation.ca/awards/john-r-evans-leaders-fund
Innovation Fund
supports transformative infrastructure projects that would underpin cutting-edge, globally competitive research. It enables institutions and their researchers to build on established capabilities to accelerate current research and technology development to enhance strategic priority areas. This competition is every two years. See https://www.innovation.ca/awards/innovation-fund
Awards from CFI and Innovation SK are granted to the University of Regina rather than to an individual faculty member. Therefore, the institution is accountable for all aspects of the award and meeting CFI's detailed requirements related to the use, reporting and administration of the funds. The Research Office coordinates the application process and post-award administration of CFI awards to help ensure requirements are met.
