Do you have a business idea and want to know how to evaluate it? This program is for you.

We’re looking for green venture innovators, who can make the world more efficient and reduce physical resources in all sectors.

Students attending this information session will be entered into a draw for five $50 prizes.

All you need to get started is an idea for a cleantech business, which would make the world more efficient in some way. This program will help you evaluate if your solution fits the problem you are trying to solve.

Selected students will receive coaching from industry experts, valuable mentoring and peer support that will get their ideas on track for commercialization in this four-month structured program, while still being able to continue their studies. The time commitment is only three hours a week.

Six student cohorts will be selected to complete the program. Training modules will be delivered virtually until the end of May and will consist of six online modules and six live moderated webinars. Additionally, throughout the program, five events featuring sector experts will provide students with real-world insights into the challenges faced by industry. Industry experts will come from the fields of carbon capture and storage, water, energy, agrifood and biocircular economy.

Graduates of the program will be enrolled in the Foresight’s Community of Innovators, which will keep them informed via newsletter on all new training programs, workshops, webinars, funding opportunities and industry news.

The Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research is partnering with Foresight Cleantech Accelerator Centre and Innovation Saskatchewan to provide a unique cleantech entrepreneurship learning opportunity for University of Regina graduate students.
