Discovery in Science

The Faculty of Science is among the most research intensive units at the University. Our faculty are passionate about their disciplines and the questions they seek to answer. Their research work engages undergraduate and graduate students in a variety of ways, creating an environment where faculty provide scientific mentorship and share their passion and joy for discovery. Faculty members across all disciplines are making significant contributions to the creation and application of knowledge through their collective discoveries that impact the scientific world alongside local communities. The Faculty of Science offers research-focused degress (BSc Honours, MSc, PhD), employs a large number of research personnel, and is home to various emerging scholars and research chairs.
