People

Department of Music faculty include nationally and internationally renowned instrumental and voice performers, composers, conductors, musicologists and music theorists. Their fields of expertise cross several boundaries and their artistry can be appreciated in a variety of university and community-based activities. Faculty members have been featured soloists, clinicians, conductors and composers with symphonies and other performing ensembles across Canada, the United States and abroad. Research interests of the departments' musicologists span from British theatre music and German court music to the study of twentieth century women composers, just to name a few.
