Admission Requirements

Program Description / Admission Requirements / Course Requirements

 

Students may apply for direct entrance to the Faculty of Business Administration as Qualifying students in the Diploma of Business Administration. Eligibility for admission to the Dip.B.A. Qualifying program requires a 65%, or greater, high school GPA based on the following subjects:

  • English Language Arts A30 and B30 (Fransaskois/Immersion students may use one of Français fransaskois A30/B30 or Français immersion in combination with either one of the English Language Arts courses)

  • Math B30

  • One 30-Level language, social science, or fine arts course chosen from Arts Education 30, Christian Ethics 30, Cree 30, Drama 30, Economics 30, French 30, Geography 30, German 30, History 30, Latin 30, Law 30, Mandarin 30, Music 30, Native Studies 30, Saulteaux 30, Social Studies 30, Spanish 30, Ukrainian 30, Ukrainian Language Arts 30, Visual Art 30

  • One additional 30-Level course from the list above or one of Biology 30, Calculus 30, Chemistry 30, Computer Science 30, Geology 30, Math A30, Math C30 or Physics 30

For students who have completed 15 or more credit hours of post-secondary course work, admission to the Dip.B.A. Qualifying program requires 65% or greater UGPA.

Details on admission to the Faculty of Business Administration may be found in the University of Regina Undergraduate General Calendar. Mature students (21 years of age or older) who do not meet these requirements should call the University of Regina's Admissions Office regarding the University Entrance Program.
