Hill and Levene Schools Join Global PRME Network
The Hill and Levene Schools of Business are proud to announce that we have become official signatories of the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME), a United Nations-supported initiative focused on advancing responsible management education and sustainable development worldwide.
Founded in 2007, PRME brings together more than 800 leading business and management schools from over 90 countries to work collectively toward achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As a signatory, the Hill and Levene Schools join a global community committed to embedding values such as sustainability, ethics, and social responsibility into business education.
“Joining PRME aligns with our strategic priorities and reinforces our commitment to developing ethical, thoughtful leaders who contribute positively to their organizations and communities,” said Dr. Erin Oldford, Dean of the Hill and Levene Schools of Business.
To support our engagement with PRME, a group of faculty and staff champions, known as our PRME Explorers, has been formed. These individuals will explore PRME resources and networks to identify how they can enhance teaching, research, and operations within the Schools.

Throughout the academic year, the PRME Explorers will share learnings and insights with faculty and staff, and later present key takeaways and applications. There will also be opportunities for students to become engaged in this initiative.
By becoming a PRME signatory, we are strengthening our commitment to fostering inclusive, ethical, and sustainable business practices—not only in our classrooms, but in the broader communities we serve.
