-  Faculty and staff of the Paul J Hill School of Business are proud to announce the success of one of their BBA students, Adam Reeson, in the Pacific North West Economic Region (PNWER) Business Ideas Competition. To enter the competition, students submitted a 3 minute video about a proposed new business venture. The top four submissions, including Adam's submission, earned an invitation to Entrepreneurial Boot Camp at Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC. Students at this boot camp will spend two days working intensively on their business development with expert mentors.

Congratulations to Adam, and thanks to Chris Street for taking the lead in organizing the University of Regina entries to this competition. We also want to acknowledge the help and support of Bruce Anderson and Bob Kayseas of the Faculty of Business Administration, Riley Moynes and Adam Burwell of Living Sky Media (www.LivingSkyMedia.com), and Rebecca Gibbons at the University of Regina.

The PNWER Business Ideas Competition was open to all universities/colleges of the Pacific North West Economic Region (more than 50 schools in total) and each school was invited to hold an internal competition where students submitted a three minute video about a business idea. The best videos from each participating university were submitted to the PNWER competition and underwent an adjudication process. Through this process the top four entries were selected for the opportunity to attend Boot Camp.
