Join Roxane Priddell to learn ways to protect your privacy within the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
This presentation will highlight the mandate of The Saskatchewan Privacy Office to protect patient privacy and will explain how and why your information is collected and used with the Saskatchewan
Health Authority. The SHA is committed to protecting the accuracy, integrity and security of all health information and all employees are required to sign a pledge of confidentiality. It is important for
patients to know their privacy rights and discover that privacy is not a barrier but is established to create protection. Come discover how to limit visitors and information sharing, the difference between
a Health Proxy and Power of Attorney, patient and family rights in Medical Assistance in Dying, and the importance of having a family physician or nurse practitioner. You will be provided contacts,
pamphlets and an opportunity to ask questions related to Privacy.
