Indigenization of Universities: Lessons from the Amazon

A lesson from the Amazon: Dr. Carlos D. Londoño Sulkin will share insights from more than two decades of research and conversations with People of the Centre (Colombian Amazon) regarding the nature, uses, virtues, and challenges of knowledge, and will report on a substantive experiment at a Colombian university in the Amazon, where scholars and Indigenous locals have created a space where Indigenous traditions and knowledges are being deployed in a creative fashion that serves and pleases local groups.
