Global Showcase 2012 - UR international's biggest event of the year -  is just around the corner.

It is an excellent opportunity for all members of the University community, new and returning, to enjoy and celebrate the myriad of diversities that thrive on campus.

The event will once again include interactive displays, exciting entertainment, an ethnic food buffet, music, and special guests from the Regina community.  Two Chinese lion dancers will kick off the event. Face painting from Street Culture Kids and a fashion show of international attire will also be featured.

Last year UR International hosted the event on the Dr. Lloyd Barber Academic Green. This year’s showcase will be in the atrium and main gym of the CKHS building in order to improve wheelchair accessibility, provide electrical outlets for displays, and eliminate the risk of weather issues.

We invite you to come celebrate with us!  Tickets are available for purchase at College West  Room 109 until the morning of the event for $10 each, which includes the international buffet and an opportunity to win exciting prizes.
