Laboratory Safety

The University has over one hundred laboratories and tens of thousands of chemicals and other hazardous products through its facilities.  The University's Hazardous Materials Management Policy (PDF) and Chemical and Laboratory Safety Program (PDF) set standards and procedures for the safe use, storage and disposal of these products throughout the university, as well as procedures and guidance on safe laboratory practices and equipment.  Specific information, including policies and procedures can be found in their respective programs.
