Fire Extinguisher Training Workshops

Health & Safety is pleased to offer Fire Extinguisher Training Workshops for students, faculty, and staff! Our workshops will allow participants to practice the proper use of a fire extinguisher in a safe environment using our fire extinguisher simuulator for realistic fire scenarios. Other workshop topics include:

Different classes of fires
Types of fire extinguishers and their uses
The PASS technique (Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep)

Each interactive workshop is one hour in length and will be offered twice a month (see schedule below).

Fall 2025

Friday, September 19 - 11:00 am to 12:00 pm (FULL)

Thursday, October 2 - 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm (FULL)
Tuesday, October 21 - 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm (FULL)

Tuesday, November 4 - 9:00 am to 10:00 am
Monday, November 17 - 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm
