2007 Fall

Time Tickets: Check for your new Time Ticket in UR Self-Service. Review how all Time Tickets were updated.

Add/Drop dates: The add/drop deadlines for Parts of Term E, S, and M were modified to give you the opportunity to change your 2007 Fall registration in sections scheduled during those Parts of Term. As you were unable to add/drop sections for three business days where key deadlines impacted your record, we have extended the deadlines in those sections for three business days.

Check your amount owing by logging into UR Self-Service, Student Services, Student Records, Account Summary by Term or Account Summary. Note the Credit Card Payment, Direct Banking links at the bottom of the page.

Add/Drop in UR Self-Service
As of 9:00AM May 16, 2005, eligible students may add/drop class(es) in UR Self-Service. Under Registration, review your Registration Status to determine if you are eligible to register. Course and class registration will be permitted according to prerequisites, restrictions, your designation as a student, and your academic history. Click on Add/Drop/Search for classes, to enter your CRNS or to choose from the list of options in your Current Registration. Add/Drop in Self-Service is an option up to the end of the Withdrawal Grade/Drop period. Add/Drop is available in your Academic Advising office at any time.

New Survey
Complete the new Point of View Survey in UR Self-Service and tell us about your Add/Drop experience.

Special Approval Permission
When a class requires permission of 'ABC', obtain a Registration Permit Override . If permission is granted you will find a SPECIALAPProval permission under "Check your Registration Status" in UR Self-Service.

Checking space in courses
Space in courses is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Check for space in courses regularly. You may find space in a course you requested!

New Class Schedule Search tools
Find the list of classes that are not viewable in UR Self-Service Class Schedule (that require you to contact your Faculty and College offices to register). Find the list of classes offered in a particular off-campus location.

New maximum hours approved for the following students:

All Engineering students will be able to register in 16 credit hours each term.

All Education (Elementary 3rd year and Elementary After Degree) and Baccalaureate students will be able to register in 17 credit hours for the Fall and Winter terms.

All other students must obtain a Registration/Permit Override for Max Hrs. from their Academic Advising Office.

Registration Restrictions 200520
Normal Maximum Loads: The normal maximum corse load for either Spring or Summer term is 6 credit hours, for a normal maximum total of 12 credit hours in the Spring/Summer session as follows:

Spring
6 credit hours in part of term 4, OR
3 credit hours each in parts of term 2 & 3

Summer
6 credit hours in part of term 7, OR
3 credit hours each in parts of term 5 & 6

Some faculties and programs require or allow a course load that is higher than those described, while others may permit an overload in special circumstances. Students who are on academic probation may have their couse load restricted. Please refer to the faculty sections in the Calendar and Check your Registration Status in UR Self-Service to view your maximum hours.

Fee Schedule
The fee schedule for the 2005 Spring/Summer semester is now available. Tuition and related fees are essentially unchanged for the 2005 Spring/Summer semester, they remain the same as the fees charged for the 2005 Winter semester.

Find out when you can register for the Spring/Summer and Fall 2005 by viewing your registration times in UR Self-Service under Student Services -> Registration -> Check your Registration Status.

The Spring/Summer 2005 and Fall 2005 class schedule will be posted to the web and available for viewing on February 23, 2005.
