Screening of the Movie WolfCop
We are pleased to invite you to a terrifying University of Regina 50th Anniversary event on October 24, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., hosted by the Faculties of Arts; Media, Art, and Performance; and Science.
We will be holding a tenth anniversary hometown screening of the movie WolfCop (2014), a made-in-Saskatchewan horror-comedy cult classic about werewolf police officer Lou Garou. WolfCop was written and directed by Regina filmmaker Lowell Dean, filmed in Regina and Moose Jaw, and features Regina actors Leo Fafard and Amy Matysio.
The evening begins at 6:00 p.m. in the Atrium of the Riddell Centre with a conversation between Department of Film Professor Mark Wihak, a University of Regina filmmaker and scholar, and Wolfcop Director Lowell Dean and Producer Hugh Patterson, followed by the screening at 7:00 p.m. in the ShuBox Theatre. Participants and guests will be treated to popcorn, mini-donuts, and refreshments.
This screening is free, but please register in advance.
