Other Giving Options
Gift of Securities
If you own publicly traded securities or mutual funds that have increased in value, you may want to consider donating the securities directly to the University of Regina. As with all gifts to the University of Regina, you can designate what you would like the proceeds of the sale of securities to support.
Planned Giving
Leaving a legacy gift is a powerful gift that will impact generations of students and contribute to the successful future of the University of Regina. These gifts fund students, scholars and researchers in many ways, including research projects, teaching or research chairs, student travel, library resources, facilities, educational equipment, bursaries, awards, and scholarships.
Gifts-in-Kind
Gifts-in-kind come in a variety of forms. For example, the University of Regina is happy to accept gifts of artwork, equipment, and antiques. In-kind donations may also be tax deductible, based on the appraised value. Please contact one of our Development Team staff to learn more about the options available for gifts-in-kind.
Tribute Gifts
Give in memory or in honour of a loved one, a colleague, someone who has inspired you or a family member close to your heart. There are many different options available, including named scholarships, donations made in their name, donations towards programs and priorities, etc. If you are interested in learning more about making a tribute gift, please reach out to one of our member of Development Team and we will walk you through the process and answer any questions you have.
You can easily make a online gift via credit card into a tribute gift by using the options on the form.
Monthly and Annual Gifts
Although the simplest recurring gifts are made online via credit card, you may also choose other payment methods that work best for you. Two other options available include monthly pre-authorized withdrawals and post-dated cheques. You may contribute as much as you like each month and can change the amount as required to suit your circumstances. Your gifts can be designated to any priority or area of interest.
