Use your skills and passion to drive real change.

At the Paul J. Hill School of Business and across the University of Regina we believe in the power of business to make a difference. The Impact Investing Fellowship is an applied, experiential learning opportunity for students from all disciplines who want to combine curiosity, compassion, and business strategy to create meaningful impact.

Through this fellowship, you’ll learn how to evaluate, support, and grow ventures that not only succeed in the marketplace but also create positive social, environmental, and cultural outcomes—right here in Saskatchewan and beyond.

What’s the Impact Investing Fellowship program?

The University of Regina Impact Investing Fellowship program is based on the Propel Impact Fellowship model—a hands-on learning experience by Propel Impact, a national non-profit that supports the next generation of impact investors and changemakers. The program equips undergraduate students with the tools to invest with purpose.

You don’t need a background in finance to participate—just curiosity, compassion, and a drive to make a difference.

As a fellow, you will benefit from:

  • Comprehensive training designed to build both technical knowledge and transferable skills for careers in social innovation and impact investing
  • Mentorship from seasoned professionals in investing, consulting, and entrepreneurship
  • The opportunity to apply for summer placements with organizations such as impact funds, consulting firms, accelerators, and foundations

What you will also gain:

  • Work closely with a community of like-minded students to explore issues you care about
  • Assess potential investments in local social enterprises, non-profits, and early-stage ventures focused on impact
  • Collaborate with your peers to develop and present investment recommendations
