Meet Merren Ganas: Chancellor’s Scholar and Future Business Leader
The Hill and Levene Schools of Business are proud to recognize Merren Ganas as the 2025–2026 Chancellor’s Scholar for Business Administration.
Merren, a soon-to-be graduate of Balfour Collegiate, will begin her post-secondary journey this fall at the Hill School of Business. Throughout her high school years, she has exemplified excellence in academics, leadership, and community involvement.
A three-time recipient of the Balfour Collegiate Proficiency Gold Medal, Merren has also served on her school’s student representative council and actively participated in extracurriculars including basketball, volleyball, flag football, and musical theatre. Outside of school, she is a dedicated member of Maids of Athena, a non-profit organization that promotes women’s empowerment.
The Chancellor’s Scholarship recognizes exceptional students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, leadership qualities, and a strong commitment to community service. Merren’s accomplishments reflect the spirit of this award, and we are excited to welcome her to the Hill School community.
