Jamie Lerat, a First Nation-Metis woman from Cowessess First Nation, possesses 14+ years of experience driving the Aboriginal agenda within the corporate realm and chairing an internal employee Aboriginal Advisory Network. She is dedicated to elevating Indigenous education through divisional and provincial sectors, collaborating with administrators, government representatives, and key stakeholders.

Jamie’s consultative role has been instrumental in stakeholder engagement and strategic planning, infusing an Indigenous perspective into current processes, policies, and methodologies, and leveraging her marketing acumen to lead impactful initiatives in design, printing, signage, and corporate gifts.

Through mentorship, she empowers individuals in their career journeys, and champions Indigenous economic growth, advocating for advancement and support. Her academic journey encompasses an MBA, Executive Leadership, Levene Graduate School of Business; Business Admin Dip, First Nations University of Canada; and Radio Broadcasting and Broadcast Journalism, Loyalist College, Ontario. Today, Jamie remains an influential Indigenous Advisor at Ranch Ehrlo Society.
