Curating for the Dancefloor: A Workshop with DJ Hendrika
Welcome to our IMP Labs/GRR workshop series! Workshop: Curating for the Dancefloor: A Workshop with DJ Hendrika (Amy Weisgarber) DJ Hendrika (aka Amy Weisgarber she/they) will cover the basics of building a set list, creating a space for dancing, and their personal story of navigating the DJ landscape as a queer femme throughout the past 20+ years. They will demo Traktor as a digital DJ tool and participants will also learn some beginner turntable skills. IMP Labs open at 6pm prior to event - come play beforehand!
