Theatre Department Open House

Are you thinking about studying theatre, or know someone who is? The Theatre Department at the University of Regina would like to invite you to our Open House.

Come to the Riddell Centre “Crush Space” (just inside the main entrance) and meet faculty, and current students, join a tour of our facilities and sit in on a rehearsal of Orlando by Sarah Ruhl. All attendees are also invited to stay for a performance of the TSA (Theatre Student’s Association) Revue starting at 7:30 PM. Students, parents, teachers and anyone curious about the program are invited to attend. Refreshments will be served, and we are happy to offer all attendees a complimentary ticket to our upcoming production of Orlando March 15-18, 2023. Our newly launched Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Devised Performance and Theatre Creation is unlike any other in Western Canada. What sets it apart is our focus on enabling every student to be involved in crafting theatre performances from beginning to end. Students gain skills and experience in a broad range of disciplines (including writing, devising, acting, set and costume design and construction), as well as possibilities to share this work on local, national and international stages. We genuinely believe that this new program will allow ALL students to be heard, seen and represented through the creation of theatre that tells their stories.
