Art for Lunch with Sylvia Matas, Art Gallery of Regina

Please join the Department of Visual Arts on Friday, March 10th for a virtual talk with Sylvia Matas. Matas is an artist living on Treaty 1 Territory in Winnipeg. Her practice combines images and language resulting in videos, books, texts, and drawings. She will be speaking about her work in the exhibition at the Art Gallery of Regina and will be sharing some of her process, research, and source imagery that led to its creation. Matas is one of the exhibiting artists of Memories of the Sun, a two-person exhibition curated by Sandee Moore at the Art Gallery of Regina opening March 10 at 7pm. This talk is supported by the Art Gallery of Regina.
