Please join the Faculty of Media, Art, and Performance for the following teaching modules from visiting scholar Dr. Lina Abraitiené. Dr. Abraitiené teaches film and related subjects in the Institute of Foreign Languages as Vytautus Magnus University in Lithuania. Her teaching tour of the University of Regina has been sponsored by ERASMUS+. 

Archetype Theory in Cartoons: Wednesday, October 30, 2:30 – 4:30 pm - Riddell Centre 050

In this 2 hour session, students will explore archetype theory in the context of cartoons and animated media. They will analyze how recurring symbols and cultural references shape story-telling in cartoons, broadening their cultural awareness and understanding of animated narratives.
