Talk Description
Dr. Larissa Lai, the Richard Charles Lee Chair in Canadian Chinese Studies at the University of Toronto, will read from her current work-in-progress: Insurgent Survival Strategies for Guilt-Wracked Human Animals in the Post-Apocalypse. Lai is the award-winning author of The Lost Century, The Tiger Flu, Iron Goddess of Mercy, and Salt Fish Girl, among other works. A discussion/q&a with members of the Department of English and Creative Writing will follow, along with light refreshments.
