Students take ‘study break’ for mental health

The University of Regina, in collaboration with Project YANA (You Are Not Alone), is hosting a ‘study break’ for students before final exams start.

Project YANA is a non-profit organization that reminds people they are not alone!  Project YANA works to address distress through the expression of compassion, connection, and by caring for those facing life's challenges. The University is partnering with Project YANA to support students during final exam time. 

University President and Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Vianne Timmons will host the ‘study break’ event:

11:00 a.m.
Wednesday, April 13, 2016
Riddell Centre (in front of the Career Centre)
University of Regina main campus

This event is part of a larger Project YANA initiative on campus. During final exams, students will see messages such as: “Exams are tough but so are you!” and “Believe in yourself!” displayed across campus.

Media are invited to attend - Dr. Timmons and Project YANA creator Kyle Moffat will be available for interviews.
