Community Research Unit to host showcase at the University of Regina

Media Advisory Release Date: November 12, 2014 1:00 p.m.

Media are invited to attend a showcase hosted by the Community Research Unit. The one-day event will profile groups who work towards positive social change in communities using community-created research. Community groups will present their research and also on their research needs.

Some of the presentations include:
- Growing Ecomuseums on the Canadian Prairies (Royal Saskatchewan Museum);
- How to transition unemployed and marginalized individuals into successful employment (ACERT);
- The development and implementation of the Saskatchewan Indigenous Strategy on HIV and AIDS (All Nations Hope AIDS Network) and;
- Lessons from a Longitudinal Rural Healthy Aging Study (SPHERU).
