Credit Card Online Payments

  1. Log in to Touchnet with your user id and password.
  2. Credit card payments made via Touchnet will immediately appear on your student account.

 Internet Banking Payments

  1. Add the University of Regina as a payee in your bank’s Internet banking system.
  2. Use your nine-digit student number as the account number (e.g., 184123456 or 200123456).
  3. If paying for someone else (e.g., a son or daughter), use their student number as the account number.
  4. For Federated College students (Campion, Luther, or First Nations University), select the appropriate college as the payee.
  5. Note that direct banking payments may take up to seven business days to appear on your student account.

International Payments

University of Regina has partnered with Flywire to streamline the tuition payment process for our international students. Flywire allows you to pay from any country and any bank. They also offer excellent foreign exchange rates, allowing you to pay in your home currency (in most cases) and save a significant amount of money, compared to traditional banks and credit card exchange rates.

Payment Plan

Payment plans are ideal for students who prefer predictable, manageable monthly payments. By enrolling, students can avoid interest charges and maintain eligibility for future course registration.

Key Features of the Payment Plan
  • Enrollment Fee: A one-time 3.0% enrollment fee is required at the time of sign-up.
  • Four Convenient Installments:
    • The first installment is due upon enrollment.
    • The remaining three installments are due on the 1st of each month.
  • Stay Current, Stay Protected:
      • No monthly interest charges.
      • No risk of deregistration for the current term.
      • Continued eligibility for future term registration.
    • The balance will still need to be paid in full before being eligible to receive transcripts.

Important Considerations

Late Payments: A $50 late fee applies to overdue payments. Repeated delays will result in removal from the plan, account holds, and possible deregistration from future classes.

  • Eligibility Requirements:
    • Students must be in good financial standing with the University (previous term balance less than $2,000).
    • The enrollment fee and first installment must be paid at sign-up.
    • A signed Payment Plan Agreement Form is required.

How to Enroll

Eligible students can sign up through UR Self-Service in the Student Records - Account Balance section. The deadline to enroll for the Winter 2026 term is January 30, 2026.  Sign-up will be available starting November 19, 2025.

Special Circumstances

Students that have an outstanding balance greater than $2,000 from previous terms may still qualify for a customized payment plan. Please email financial.services@uregina.ca with a proposal outlining how the prior term balance will be addressed, in addition to the current term’s payment.

For students who have already applied, or are interested in applying, for Canada Student Financial Assistance and are wanting more information on how a payment plan may impact your application for funding, please reach out to the Student Awards and Financial Aid Office at safa@uregina.ca.
