How to Avoid Citations and Warnings

NOTE: We are in the process of changing the naming convention for "infractions", "violations" and "tickets" to the term of "Citations".

You can avoid tickets and impoundment by:

  • Parking in areas authorized by your permit.
If you don't know where to park, contact Parking Services.
    • M permit holders can only park in designated M areas in Lots 1, 6, 7, 8, 12, 13 & 14
    • M permit holders can only park in designated M areas in Lot 23 at College Ave Campus
    • Z permit holders park in your designated Z Lot.  Please confirm your lot number with our office .
    • "Sask Abilities" permit holders are the only motorists who can park in Accessibility stalls.
    • University Service Vehicle permits can only park in Service Vehicle areas
  • Correctly displaying your parking permit at all times.
Hang tags are NO LONGER ISSUED for parking.  You can Manage your Account with your licence plate information and keep it up to date at any time .  You may add up to three vehicle license plates to your parking privileges/permit as long as only one vehicle is parked on the campus at a time.
  • Park for only the time allotted for your meter or time zone.
Each meter and time zone has guidelines as to how long you can park there.  If your vehicle is inoperable, contact Parking Services at 306-585-5555 or Campus Security at 306-585-4999. You will need to provide your:
    • name
    • contact information
    • license plate number
    • issue with vehicle

You will have up to 24 hours to repair and/or remove your vehicle, unless Parking Services or by Campus Security tells you otherwise.
