Parking Services

.

During this time of reduced vehicle traffic at the University, and to allow individuals an alternative to public transit, we are temporarily not requiring permits or payments for the Main Campus surface parking areas but adhering to parking regulations is still required to maintain a safe campus.

PARKING PERMIT UPDATE (As of April 15)
For Students:

If you have a parking permit valid to April, 2020, you will receive a credit to your student account for the amount paid for parking for the entire month of April. The credit should be applied to your student account by next week.

If your student account is in a credit balance and you are graduating or not returning to the University of Regina after this semester, you are asked to make refund arrangements in-person at Financial Services when campus operations return to normal and it is safe to do so, or by contacting financial.services@uregina.ca. If you still have an outstanding balance on your account, the credit will be applied against those charges. Otherwise, the credit will be applied directly against future tuition and residence charges.

Given the current circumstances, permit parking fees will no longer be charged until normal university operations resume. At that time, the Parking Services website will be updated with permit sale dates.

Parking at the University

All parking on campus is paid parking. Revenue generated from “user pay” fees provides the funding for parking operations, infrastructure construction & maintenance and related parking infrastructure expenses.

Several parking options are available to you, depending who you are and what your parking needs are.  Choose one of the options below to find out your parking options and if you need a parking permit from Parking Services.

  1. Campus resident student (student living on campus)
  2. Commuter student (student driving to campus)
  3. Visitor  (non-university community visiting campus)

Note:  Parking on campus is limited and will sell out; permits are sold on a first come/first serve basis so check the sale dates and apply early.
