International Applicants

Welcome to Housing Services!  Living on campus is an excellent choice for international students!

To complete a Housing application you need:

Your University of Regina Student ID Number.

A credit card to pay the $50 application fee.

Note: If you do not have a UofR student ID number please Apply to UR International.

How To Apply New International Residents

Housing Services is currently accepting applications for:

Winter 2024 (January 2024 - April 2024)

Spring & Summer 2024 (May 2024 - August 2024)

Fall/Winter 2024-2025 (September 2024- April 2025)

Housing contracts begining in the fall semester are for an 8 month academic year (with the exception of 4 month exchange programs/ESL)

1.   To login to your housing portal you will need to login with your University of Regina credentials. These are the same credentials you use to access you UofR webmail - you received these in your admission documents.

                If you have forgot your password for the account you can reset your password at:

2.   COMPLETE all of the steps in the application.

3.   PAY the $50 non-refundable application fee. 

4.   WATCH for emails from Housing Services and keep your email address current

5.   RECEIVE the letter of offer that is emailed to you from Housing Services. Letters of Offer for Fall/Winter are sent in the spring (mid-March - April), Letters of Offer for Spring/Summer are sent in the Winter term (January - March), Letters of Offer for Winter term are sent on an on-going basis.

6.   REVIEW your letter of offer that has been emailed to you from Housing Services. This letter will include important information including: the room type you are offered, the cost and the length of the term, and the deadline for paying your deposit and signing your contract.

7.   ACCEPT your room offer

8.   CONFIRM your room by paying your deposit and signing your contract online.

The deadline for signing Fall/Winter contracts and paying your deposit is July 1.

How To Apply – Returning International Residents


1.   LOG IN to the Housing Portal

            Forgot your housing password? Email housing.services@uregina.ca for assistance

2.   COMPLETE the application.

3.   PAY the application fee - if you are living in U of R Housing at the time of your application you will be charged $25, otherwise your fee will be $50.

4. WAIT for your letter of offer, it will be emailed to you by Housing Services.

5. ACCEPT your offer.

6. CONFIRM to confirm your offer, sign your contract online and pay your deposit by the date noted in your letter of offer.

The deadline to sign your contract and pay your deposit for Fall/Winter is July 1.
