Visiting Post-Secondary Students

Housing Services is happy to welcome visiting students from other post-secondary institutions!

You will need a University of Regina Student ID to complete a Housing application.  To obtain a temporary UofR student ID, please email housing.services@uregina.ca with the following information:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Name of home institution and program
  • Enrollment documentation (in order to be issued your student number, please attach this in your email)
  • Preferred E-mail Address

Housing Services will email a temporary student ID number to you within 2 business days. Once you receive your student ID, please follow the instructions below.

How To Apply – Visiting Post-Secondary Students
 

  1. REGISTER with Housing Services using your University of Regina student ID. (Click Here to Register)

  2. CHECK your email – Housing Services has emailed you a housing password.

  3. LOG IN to the Housing Portal using your University of Regina student ID and your Housing Password.  Click Here to Log In

  4. COMPLETE the application, answering all questions. (You will need to pay a $50 Application Fee to begin). It may take 2-3 days for Housing Services to process your application and send you a Letter of Offer.

  5. WAIT for Housing Services to email you a Letter of Offer.  This letter will include important information including: the room type you are offered, the cost and the length of the term.

  6. CONFIRM your Offer.  To confirm your offer, contact Housing Services and pay $400 ($200 is a confirmation fee and will be applied to your total housing fees, and $200 is held as a security deposit). 

    *Payment is accepted in person at Kīšik Towers, by mail, or by phone with credit card.

How To Apply – Returning

Great news, you already have a Housing Portal ID!  Simply Log In to the Housing Portal and complete your application.   If you have forgotten your Housing Portal password, contact housing.services@uregina.ca
