LLC Application Instructions

1.

The application for Living-Learning Communities (LLCs) is included in the Housing application. You will need to register and log into the Housing Services Housing Portal

Once logged in, you will have the option to apply to an LLC. If you feel this is something you would be interested in, please carefully read the descriptions of each LLC to determine which communities best fit your academic/ personal goals and values. Individual community descriptions are linked to the main LLC page. Take note of the building where each community is located and the room types offered.

*If you previously applied for student housing but did not apply to an LLC, you may still apply.  Students may log into their original application and complete the LLC portion. For more detailed instructions on how to do this, please email housing.services@uregina.ca

2. Please be advised: Due to the specific location of each LLC, chosen participants may be placed in a different room type than they were originally offered by Housing Services. We will try our best to keep you in the same room type for which you originally applied, but we cannot guarantee that this will be possible for all applicants.
In order for roommate requests to be considered, the roommate(s) must apply for, and be accepted into the same Living-Learning Community. Show your friends how to apply!
3. LLC offers will be extended via email (using the email address you have provided on the application). Please make sure to add housing.services@uregina.ca to your list of safe senders so that our email is not sent to your junk mail box.
4.

Successful applicants will be asked to confirm their membership by completing the LLC Community Expectations agreement before a given date. The expectations agreement will be emailed to applicants to the email address listed in their application.

5.

In order to be eligible for an LLC, students must have paid the non-refundable Housing application fee, confirmed a room placement through payment of the $400 security deposit, and be admitted to the University of Regina as a full-time student. Once confirmed, students will receive a final email from Housing Services stating their assigned LLC room type and location. Information about room numbers, roommates, etc. will be provided at move-in.

* Please ensure you apply for the community or communities for which you are eligible. Each community is designated as either a First-Year Living Learning Community or Open to All Students.
