On International Women’s Day the U of R’s 2023 Inspiring Leadership Forum celebrates women who were “Born to Transform”
Media are invited to attend the University of Regina’s 14th annual Inspiring Leadership Forum on March 8 where they will be provided with the opportunity to interview inspiring women on International Women’s Day.
This sold-out, premier, leadership development event brings together people from Saskatchewan and beyond to hear the motivational stories of internationally-renowned women who have overcome adversity and are blazing their own unique trails.
This year’s theme, “Born to Transform,”celebrates our capacity for change – both individually and as a collective.
The University of Regina would like to thank the Mosaic company for sponsoring this year’s three keynote speakers, each of whom will capture the “Born to Transform” theme in their address:
- Jody Wilson-Raybould, P.C., O.B.C., K.C., Best-selling author and former Minister of Justice and Attorney General
- Lyse Doucet, C.M., OBE, Canadian Journalist who is the BBC’s Chief International Correspondent
- Lisa Nichols, Media personality and corporate CEO, whose global platform has reached and served nearly 80 million people
Lyse Doucet, who will be travelling to Regina fresh from covering the conflict in Ukraine, will be giving her keynote address from 10:35-11:55 a.m. and will hold a media availability at 12:30 p.m. ILF host and University of Regina Chancellor Pam Klein will also be available for interviews at that time. The other keynote speakers will not be available for interviews.

Time: Conference begins at 8:45 a.m. Media who wish to interview Ms. Doucet and/or Chancellor Klein are asked to arrive at the ITC’s main entrance to sign in no later than 12:20 p.m.
