Horizon Europe

Horizon Europe is the largest program for research and innovation in the world, offering a total of €95.5 billion (more than $140 billion CAD) to researchers via its various funding calls being offered from 2021-2027.

Researchers at the University of Regina are now eligible to hold funding from Horizon Europe under Pillar II: Global Challenges and European Industrial Competitiveness.

Cluster 3: Civil Security for Society

Cluster 4: Digital, Industry and Space

Cluster 5: Climate, Energy and Mobility

Cluster 6: Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment

Teams of researchers must collaborate as part of a consortium in order to apply. Consortium members must be from at least three different EU Member States or associated countries. Any exceptions or additional requirements will be noted in the specific funding call. Additional information is available below:

Interested in developing a proposal or joining a consortium that is being formed?

Visit the Calls for Proposals database and click on the name of a funding call. Scroll down to “Partner search announcements.” If there are researchers who are seeking co-investigators for a consortium, you can click “View/Edit” for details.
