Grade Options - Winter 2020

The web form for submitting CRC and NCC grade conversion requests is now available in UR Self-Service.

If you wish to keep the numeric grades earned in all courses, no action is required. If you wish to select a different grading option in any or all courses, please refer to the following instructions and read the information carefully. The deadline for converting your grades is May 31, 2020 at 11:59 p.m.

Grading Choice Options

CRC (Credit-COVID-19) is for students who pass a course, but who have experienced stressors that have negatively impacted their academic performance. CRC recognizes a student has successfully completed the requirements for the course but does not affect the student’s grade point average GPA). The decision to convert a grade to CRC is irreversible.

NCC (No Credit–COVID-19) is for students who receive a failing numerical grade in a course and request to replace this numerical grade so as to preserve their academic standing. The decision to convert a grade to NCC is irreversible.

Note: NP, W, XF, CW, DE, IP, IN and some other grades are not eligible for conversion. Grades for classes that ended prior to the March 16, 2020 disruption in University services are also not available for conversion.
