Course Catalogue

The Course Catalogue is a list of approved courses currently active at the University. This is not a list of scheduled classes; rather, it is a list of potential courses that may be scheduled in a specific term. To find the classes that are scheduled for registration, please search the Class Schedule.

Undergraduate Course Catalogue

New, changed, inactivated and historical undergraduate courses are approved at the faculty level. A course inventory form and synopsis of these courses are sent to the Council Committee on Undergraduate Admissions and Studies (CCUAS) for information prior to being cataloged.

Variable content courses are courses that carry the suffix AA-ZZ after the course number. These are variations of a base course that is approved in the above manner and as such, do not require individual approval or submission through CCUAS for creation only. Most details of a variable content course (or iteration of a base course) will remain constant – as per the base course. When a new base course with variable content is being created, all steps in a New Course should be followed. If a base course is made inactive or historical all series courses will be updated as well.

Special Fee Approval

If a fee is to be charged and collected by the University over and above normal course fees and tuition, the Special Approval Form must be initiated by the faculty who owns the course and sent to the President’s Office for approval, and to Financial Services and ultimately the Registrar’s Office for entry.
