Next Steps

Congratulations!  Now that you've been awarded your degree, diploma, or certificate, the information below will help guide you with what to do next.

Parchments

If you are attending the in-person ceremony, you will recieve your parchment in the student assembly area on the day of the ceremony.

If you requested on the RSVP form to have your parchment held for pick-up, beginning October 25 you can collect your parchment at the Registrar's Office, AH 210. Office hours are 8:30-4:15 M-F. Bring photo ID and remember that masks are mandatory. You will have until November 5, 2021 to retrieve your parchment. Remaining parchments will be mailed via Canada Post to the address you provided on your RSVP.

If you requested on the RSVP form to have your parchment mailed to you it will be shipped via Canada Post. You package will included your parchment(s) and a ceremony program.

If you did not complete an RSVP form by noon, October 8, your parchment will be sent to the mailing address on file in UR Self-Service.

Important:

If your mailing address is incorrect in the system and your package is returned to the U of R undeliverable or is lost in the mail, you will be responsible for the re-mailing and replacement fees as necessary.

Students who owe money to the University can still attend the ceremony, but will have a financial hold placed on their account and will not be allowed to obtain transcripts, receive parchments, and other documentation of graduation. This includes letters of confirmation and congratulations. You can make payment at Financial Services, AH 205, or via UR Self-Service. Once your account is paid in full, contact ur.graduation@uregina.ca so we can release your parchment(s)
