Invitation to Participate: Sustainability and Music Research Project

Seeking participants for "Making Music in a Throwaway Culture," a research project that explores the intersection of sustainability and music through the lens of collaborative music making. Dr Sarah Schmalenberger, the researcher, is a visiting scholar at the University of Regina through the Fulbright Canada program. She will collect data about participant experiences in sessions using discarded and re-purposed resources to create sounds and expressive forms of musical communication. Sessions will facilitate dialogue about sustainability and collaborative problem-solving in communities

This project is ideal for participants of a broad spectrum of perspectives: educators, students, staff, and community members; anyone wishing to develop creative initiatives that will cultivate eco-sustainability in groups small and large.
