Film Screening: "Bring Them Home" - a Thunderheart Films Production

Each September, we recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation - a day dedicated to walking together in a good way and putting things right. 

 

UR International Student Services and the Global Learning Centre invite you to attend a special film screening of "Bring Them Home | Aiskótáhkapiyaaya" - a Thunderheart Films production. 

 

Bring Them Home tells the story of a small group of Blackfoot people and their mission to establish the first wild buffalo herd on their ancestral territory since the species' near-extinction a century ago, an act that would restore the land, re-enliven traditional culture and bring much needed healing to their community. 

 

Narrated by Academic Award-nominated Blackfeet Nez Perce actor Lily Gladstone and Co-Directed by Blackfeet siblings Ivan and Ivy MacDonald with Daniel Glick.
