Change Management and Innovation Certificate Requirements 

To complete the Centre for Continuing Education Change Management and Innovation Certificate, you will complete 7 courses: Fundamentals of Innovation; Identifying Innovation; Change Management; Inspiring Innovation; Data Analytics for Innovation; Staff and Client Engagement; Implementing and Sustaining change; and Operational and Strategic Problem Solving.  

The Fundamentals of Innovation course should be taken first in the program.  

All courses are offered a) in-person 2-day or b) remote 1/2 day over 3 days format. You must commit to a total of 14 hours of learning including: pre-work, after class work with your group, and on your own.  

Through case studies, instruction and simulation, you will have the opportunities to practice applying this innovative approach so it can be immediately applied in your workplace.

Certificate Requirements

Courses are offered remote and in person. 

Remote courses are delivered as three half-day sessions in one week. In-person courses at the College Avenue Campus are usually two consecutive full days. 

The Certificate can be completed in as little as four months, or take up to three years.

Cristine Saxon has over 25 years of experience as a leader, coach, advisor, instructor and leadership consultant across multiple industries. Today she manages Cristine Saxon Coaching and Consulting and is an executive coach and leadership consultant. As an ICF certified coach, she coaches clients in three countries, including running her leadership program for German female academics, EmpowHer.

Directions, Parking and More for In-Person Courses

Location

In-person courses are located in the College Building on the College Avenue Campus at 2155 College Avenue.

Parking

Paid parking is available in the parking lots located on the south side of the College Building. Parking is $2/hour. You can pay to park using the pay stations located in the parking lot and in the main entrance of the College Building or by downloading the PayByPhone app or visiting paybyphone.com. The following information is required to set up an account:

  • Mobile phone number
  • Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • License plate of vehicle(s)

Refreshments

At our in-person courses, we provide the essentials you need to have a productive learning experience. We provide:

  • Lunch, unless otherwise specified
  • A selection of coffee, tea and beverages 
  • Snacks
  • Water refill stations

Withdrawal, Transfer and Refund Policy
Students who withdraw more than 10 business days prior to the course will receive a full refund minus $30 administration fee. If a student registers 10 business days or less prior to the course, they are eligible for a transfer credit only.
Cancellations and Closures

The University of Regina and the Centre for Continuing Education reserves the right to cancel courses or programs due to insufficient registration or other unforeseen events. If this occurs, participants will be given every opportunity to transfer into another course or refunds will be issued. Decisions regarding withdrawal and/or refunds may be appealed to the Dean, Centre for Continuing Education.  

The University is closed on all statutory holidays and between December 24 and January 1.
