Types of Camps

Offered during winter, spring and summer breaks for ages 3-14, these camps are for the beginner to the serious artist. Our Camp Staff are passionate about the arts and can’t wait to share their passion with our campers! We boast a contingent of camp instructors, coordinators and program assistants to deliver the best Creative Camp experience.
- Camp instructors are experienced artists and educators with degrees in Arts Education or Fine Arts. They ensure our camp values are being met and campers reach attainable goals throughout the week.
- Camp assistants are typically post-secondary students studying in the fields of Arts Education or Fine Arts. They work directly under a camp instructor, assisting with classroom needs and supervise our campers during breaks.
Volunteer Opportunity for High School Students
Have a high school student age 15+ looking to expand their experience working in the field of arts education? Volunteers shadow a Camp Instructor for half-days throughout the week. This provides a great opportunity to learn best practices in arts education but also to build community connections with artists and educators as students seek to pursue studies in arts or education. Email creative.camp@uregina.ca to learn more about volunteering.
All camp staff are trained in camp policies and procedures and are required to submit a satisfactory Criminal Record Check before employment.

We are committed to a positive space for your camper and have three basic expectations of all our campers. These are posted in all camp spaces.
1. Leadership
2. Listening and Understanding
I listen well to other campers and staff. I work hard to understand how I make others feel. I put myself in someone else's shoes to understand how other people feel.
3. Good Friend
I am a good team member. I work well with my team. I know everyone in the camps is important and I show them with my actions.
