Not sure what describes you best? Here are some helpful definitions:
High School Student
You are currently in high school or have graduated high school without completing any college or university studies.
University/College Transfer Student
You are currently in high school or have graduated high school without completing any college or university studies.
CEGEP Student
You are enrolled in, or graduated from, a Quebec CEGEP (Collège d’enseignement général et professionnel) without completing any other post-secondary education.
Current/Returning U of R Student
You have previously been accepted to the University of Regina or are currently enrolled and wish to transfer to a different faculty.
IB Diploma Student
You have completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. The University of Regina accepts the IB Diploma with a minimum of 24 points as the equivalent of secondary-level standing.
Mature Student
A mature student is someone who:
- Is at least 21 years old
- Is a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or protected person
- Has not completed high school or cannot access their transcripts
- Has limited post-secondary credits
- Can show readiness for university through life or work experience
