Shaolin Dragon Kenpo School teaches a well-rounded martial art system for students of all ages and abilities. The core of our system emphasizes movement in the most efficient way to create strikes and kicks with blinding speed and tremendous amounts of power. The idea is, if a strike is made, then there will be a reaction. Based on that reaction, a follow-up occurs. This applies to both the offensive and defensive motions. Because our system has both Chinese and Japanese influences, your training begins with the "hard" Japanese Karate style that contains the usual blocks, strikes, and kicks. Using speed and power, you will study "sets" that can handle just about every possible situation. Then, you will be introduced to the "soft" Chinese style. You start training by activating all muscle groups from head to toe. Then, push the limits of your flexibility and balance. Lastly, rapid fire kicking builds cardiovascular strength, endurance, and agility. Teachings are based on real-world situations. No matter why you train - street defense, art forms, weapons, tournament fighting, or just fitness - you will learn and apply martial arts history as you grow in a complete art form. With key basic techniques studied and practiced, we apply them to versatile sets that will prepare you for any confrontational situation. We call it AKAD - Advanced Kenpo Assault Defense. Whether an attack comes by way of strike, kick, or weapon, you will be prepared to defend and adapt ... fast.

Queer Fit Club is a pop-up fitness community designed to create inclusive, accessible spaces for 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals and allies to move, connect, and build confidence. Founded in Regina, Saskatchewan in 2024, Queer Fit Club offers outdoor and studio-based group fitness experiences that centre joy, safety, and community. We work with local fitness leaders, studios, and queer-owned businesses to host everything from circuit workouts and run clubs to yoga and dance classes, with each event welcoming all bodies, all identities, and all fitness levels. More than just a workout, each pop-up creates space for people to be fully themselves, meet new friends, and feel part of something bigger. Since launching, we've expanded to Winnipeg and connected with over 750 members across the Prairies. At our core, we’re about movement, not just physical, but social, emotional, and cultural. Whether it’s someone’s first time working out in years, or their hundredth, we aim to make them feel seen, supported, and celebrated.
