Vibya Natana BSW'22 and CNSLI'22
Vibya Natana BSW’22 CNSLI’22 is a South Sudanese-Canadian who was born and raised in Treaty 4 Territory, Regina, SK. She is a proud alum of the University of Regina and Luther College. As a social worker who currently works in mental healthcare and community development, she spends her time advancing the missions of several organizations both professionally and as an avid volunteer — most notably with Black in Saskatchewan and YWCA Regina. Vibya is passionate about supporting marginalized communities through consciousness-raising — bringing awareness to social issues through education and relationship building — and developing inclusive systems through policy, advocacy, research partnerships, and more.
Vibya is also an experienced speaker and facilitator having worked with institutions such as the Canadian Public Relations Society, Saskatchewan Ministry of Health, Luther College, Saskatchewan Association of Black Social Workers, Truly Alive Youth & Family Foundation, and others. She is proud to consistently learn and collaborate with people of diverse backgrounds, whom she considers some of her greatest teachers.
