The Chancellor’s Scholarship and Fellowship Awards program is uniquely designed to recruit exceptionally talented, hard-working, community-minded students to the University of Regina and ensure they develop to their full potential over their four-year undergraduate degree or graduate degree program.

Chancellor's Scholarship

The Chancellor's Scholarship is awarded annually to 14 undergraduate domestic students who meet a variety of criteria, including a minimum admission average of 95 per cent. Scholarship recipients receive $10,000 per year for up to four years, plus on-campus housing for their first year. One of the scholarships is reserved for Indigenous applicants and one for out-of-province applicants. Learn more.

Chancellor's Fellowship

Thanks to the generous support of donors, Chancellor’s Fellowships of $25,000 each are awarded annually to two graduate students entering the University of Regina each Fall with demonstrated commitment and leadership in their areas of research. Learn more.

Annual gifts

Annual support for the Chancellor’s Scholarship and Fellowship Awards program runs from May 1 to April 30. Gifts are fully tax deductible.  To be recognized as a participant in this program, please note the minimum gift levels below. Gifts that are less than the stated amounts are gratefully accepted.

• Individual or Couples Gift: Annual gifts are $1,974 for individuals or couples. You receive access to exclusive events, networking opportunities, and a community of philanthropists who are passionate about education.
• Corporate Gift: For a minimum annual gift of $10,000 you and your company will support and engage with outstanding U of R students in various fields of study. By donating to the Chancellor’s Scholarship and Fellowship Awards program, you are aligning your company with a meaningful cause and demonstrating corporate social impact.
• Chancellor’s Scholar Gift: Individuals and corporations have an additional opportunity to provide a one-time gift of $40,000, which supports a full four-year renewable scholarship for a high-achieving domestic student. In recognition of your generosity, you are also able to add your name to the gift (i.e., [your name] Chancellor's Scholar).
