Together, We Serve

2026 President's Message

Dear friends of the University of Regina,

The University of Regina is entering an exciting new chapter following the launch of our 2026-2035 Strategic Plan, entitled Together, We Serve.

Developed through consultation with students, faculty, staff, alumni, Indigenous partners, and community members, Together, We Serve unites our learning, research, community engagement, reconciliation, and innovation around a shared vision for the decade ahead.

At its core, Together, We Serve is about what we can accomplish together with the broader community behind us, together with our donor community – of which you are a vital part.

In that spirit of togetherness and partnership, I am pleased to present our 2025-2026 Donor Impact Report – a report that is a testament both to your generosity and to your commitment to our three-part academic mission of teaching, research, and service to community.

Your generosity is a driving force behind our efforts to:

  • Transform learning with real-world impact;
  • Advance community-driven and Indigenous-led research with purpose;
  • Propel thoughtful innovation;
  • Strengthen our comprehensive, research-intensive University and society; and
  • Advance Indigenous leadership, strengthen pathways for Indigenous learners, and embed Indigenous histories and ways of knowing into the life of our University.

As you read through our 2025-2026 Donor Impact Report, I hope you will see your own generosity reflected in the stories of fellow donors, and in the achievements made possible because of your support. I hope you will also see examples of how your generosity can, and does, make a difference in the lives of students and in the future of our local, provincial, national, and international communities. That generosity ultimately makes our world a better place for everyone.

In closing, I hope this Report demonstrates how you are at the heart not only of our strategic vision, but also of who we are as a University as we move toward 2035 and beyond with optimism, confidence, and purpose – together.

Yours in gratitude,

Dr. Jeff Keshen
President and Vice-Chancellor
