U of R Golden Aluminaries
As some of our earliest graduates, you witnessed the establishment of the University of Regina as an independent institution. We call this special group the Golden Aluminaries, leading the way and lighting the future. In 2025, we celebrate the Class of 1975's 50th anniversary.
You've seen the campus grow into a vibrant place of pride. As longstanding alumni, you know the university's commitment to progressive work, technology, innovation, sustainability, equity, truth and reconciliation.
Golden Aluminaries have set an example for engaged community members while staying connected to the U of R and its close to 95,000 alumni worldwide. You are vital to the U of R's story, sharing its value as ambassadors.
The 2025 Golden Aluminaries celebration, presented by the University of Regina Alumni Association (URAA), is on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. This exclusive event includes a luncheon and induction ceremony, where graduates receive their Golden Aluminary pin and certificate. It's a chance to reconnect and reminisce.
If you missed last year's celebration, you can register this year if you graduated from the University of Regina or the University of Saskatchewan, Regina Campus, before 1975.

Leaving a Legacy
Leaving a legacy gift is a powerful gift that will impact generations of students and contribute to the successful future of the University of Regina. These gifts fund students, scholars, and researchers in many ways, including research projects, teaching or research chairs, student travel, library resources, facilities, educational equipment, bursaries, awards, and scholarships.
When making or revising your will, consider how your bequest can provide a lasting legacy of your support for your university, the University of Regina. At the same time, you can enjoy the satisfaction of knowing that the gift you have provided is vital for future support of students, faculty, facilities, or programs throughout the University of Regina.
