From Hill to Ivey
A Unique Opportunity to Take Your Education Further
As a Hill student, you're already building the mindset, skills, and leadership potential that top business schools—and employers—look for.
If you’re ready to take your next big step, the Ivey Honours Business Administration (HBA) is your pathway forward. And with the exclusive Hill–Ivey HBA Scholarship, you could receive $40,000 in funding to help you get there.
This is more than a scholarship. It's unique opportunity created for Hill students.
The Hill–Ivey HBA Scholarship
Thanks to the generosity of our naming donor and Ivey alumnus Paul J. Hill (MBA ’69), this scholarship is available only to students from the Paul J. Hill School of Business.
Value: $20,000 per year for two years (total $40,000)
This funding helps cover the majority of your tuition at the Ivey Business School at Western University.
You’re already on the right track.
As a Hill student, your courses, casework, and focus on leadership development align with what Ivey expects. You’re learning to think critically, lead with confidence, and build solutions with real-world impact. That’s exactly the kind of preparation the Ivey HBA program values.
Scholarship Eligibility
Available to students from the Paul J. Hill School of Business, this scholarship is awarded to those who:
- Have minimum 80% Undergraduate Grade Point Average (UGPA)
- Completed (or nearing completion) the Diploma in Business Administration from the Paul J. Hill School of Business (If you’re in the BBA program, you can ladder down to complete the diploma requirements). The diploma must be completed by the end of the Winter term, including BUS 285 and BUS 288, with at least 70% in each.
- Have no failed courses or academic misconduct
- Take a full course load (5 classes per semester), or demonstrate consistent academic effort if taking 4 (To keep the assessment process fair and consistent, Ivey prefer applicants who have mostly taken in-person classes during the Fall and Winter terms)

Your achievement both inside and outside of the classroom is very important to Ivey’s decision. In fact, only at Ivey is your achievement outside of the classroom as important to us as your academic achievement – it is truly a 50/50 balance between academic achievement (grades) and leadership contribution. You would also need to list the contact information of you reference.
